AluaSun Marbella Park

Arrived for 5 nights with my 5 year old daughter as an all inclusive guest. The rooms are quite small, tiny balcony but as it was only me and my daughter it was fine and maids clean every day. My daughter loved the kids pool HOWEVER a lot of parts of the pool are really rough. So much that my daughter came out with burns/blisters on the bottoms of her feet on the first day. She could barely walk and I had to get her swim shoes for the rest of our stay to protect her feet. We then found out it had happened to other children too. Pool doesn’t open until 10:30 and a lot of people queue up early to get sunbeds by the pool then just leave their towels there all day which is a bit annoying. The food is ok, not much fresh fruit on offer apart from basic apples. The rest is in syrup so if you’re expecting strawberries/watermelon slices you won’t get it here but there is a shop nearby. It’s not awful food but not great, more just eating so that you don’t have an empty stomach. Half of the staff are helpful the other half don’t really care and can be rude or complete jobsworths. Has the potential to be a nice hotel but wouldn’t rate it 4 stars, more 3 stars at a push which is a shame. However we have made the best of it and daughter has still enjoyed.

After reading previous reviews i was a bit sceptical The food was excellent lots of variety, meats veg salad lots of desserts, the timings are good. to be honest we were half board and upgraded to all inclusive. Its slightly remote but theres a few buses free to the beach. theres 2 trips daily £5 euro return to fuengirola and the old town marbella we also got the local bus to old town £1.98 euro @way. The staff were very friendly. Rooms were spacious beds were comfy like foam memory. entertainment was brilliant acrobatics singers bingo every night We also had a massage, the lady was lovely and excellent £50-55 euro for hour full body would highly reccomend. cocktails and good beer are in the all inclusive. was lovely and quiet even when the entertainment was on. sunbeds wasnt a problem in the adult pool but even by the kids pool there was seating and tables near you can still watch the kids. Theres smoking areas away from the bar and pool. Nice little shop doesnt sell much few bits, but theres a shop 5/10 min walk sells everything food and drinkwise. no kettles in room we took our own, there was a fridge but doesnt stay on when your out the room. hairdryer was relly good. I would definatly recommend, I felt safe and secure. theres a card to leave on bed to get sheets changed which i didnt realise till day 5! towels and room was attended to every day though. theres also a zip wire climbing centre like go ape round back of hotel think it was around the £25 euro.

Brilliant resort very clean very friendly and welcoming staff. Very good to relax and enjoy a break away from Thursday to day lives. Book this place you won’t regret it

Not a 4 star hotel . Needs updating . Needs pool opening early . Needs more food variety. Entertainment is a bit rubbish . Drinks are watered down .

This place is in a secluded area but within reach of beach and town a buss ride away . Atmosphere calm not many kids I think definitely more adult over 60 rooms clean staff mostly friendly value the main reason we come . Noise level ok everything shuts down at 11 . Food bland repetitive but your find something to eat . Unfortunately unless your over 60 the entertainment is awful the team are friendly but apart from half hour of mini disco for kids there’s little to entertain x on the whole if you’re looking for total relaxation and nothing kid wise this will suffice kids pool good with slides x
