I honestly don’t even know where to start!! My stay was absolutely beyond amazing, beyond outstanding, truly unforgettable in every single way. A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to Mr. Rishi, the Front Office Manager, for the most incredible, warm, and professional welcome we’ve ever received. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely taken care of and genuinely valued. His hospitality set the tone for everything that followed... simply exceptional. Every part of this experience was on another level. The restaurant service was flawless, with attention to detail, super-attentive staff, and an atmosphere that made every meal feel special. And the food… absolutely packed with flavour and beautifully presented. A very special highlight for the phenomenal Chef Ravi at Tek Tek! His energy, passion, and the way he explained each dish made the experience so engaging and enjoyable. Watching him cook was a show in itself, and the food was honestly next-level. We tried so many new things and everything was just WOW. The rooftop bar was another unforgettable experience with stunning views, incredible vibe, and a super cool mixologist who crafted amazing cocktails and really brought the place to life. And I cannot forget Pushpa at the spa and the salt room!! AMAZING! My room was spotless, elegant, and beautifully decorated for my fiancé’s birthday with such a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more special and emotional for us. Housekeeping, room service, bellboys, well, every single person we interacted with was polite, professional, and genuinely kind. Everything worked perfectly, and we felt completely at home from start to finish. If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! I cannot wait to be back!

We are frequent visitors to Mauritius and have stayed at most of the quality hotels on the island. However, the one hotel which we always return to is SALT of Palmar - It had managed to get everything perfect: the wonderful, inspired colourful interior design, the delicious food and perhaps importantly of all the friendliness of the hotel team. With just 50 rooms the hotel is the perfect scale to get to know fellow guests and the staff. The hotel is extremely clean and immaculately kept. The rooms are beautifully designed without being ostentatious – the beds are without doubt the most comfortable on the island! Above all this is the food! The chef prepares the most delicious, inspired selection at breakfast, lunch or dinner mostly with local produce. We were truly spoilt for our wedding anniversary dinner with a beautiful chocolate cake to celebrate. We are very grateful to Raj Reedoy, Rishi, Met, Vish and the chef for making our anniversary truly special. It’s a real pleasure to experience a rare hotel like this where everything is just right – well done SALT team! Looking forward to our next visit. Mr & Mrs Bennett

We spent three amazing days in a Bang on Beach room and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The service was excellent throughout, and the food was outstanding. We especially appreciated the balance of dining options, neither too few nor overwhelming in number, with great variety between lunch, beachside dining, and dinner. The à la carte breakfast was particularly impressive. We loved the beach. While it is not very large, it is beautifully maintained and well organized. The soft white sand and crystal-clear water made for wonderful swimming and excellent snorkeling. The sunrise is spectacular and not to be missed by early risers. The sunsets are equally beautiful, especially when enjoyed from the rooftop. The location is ideal, offering the best of both worlds with stunning sunrise and sunset views. A special thank you to Yogesh for his outstanding service and warm approach on the beach, and to Rewa for the excellent service in the restaurant. We are also grateful to the entire team, as there are surely many others who contributed to making our stay so memorable. We hope to be back soon!

Had a wonderful stay at Salt of Palmar! A cozy and peaceful hotel, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from daily life. A special thank you to the F&B team for their excellent service, especially Mr. Med and his team, who made our stay even more enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon!

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in a Garden View room. Warm welcome, short tour of the hotel and facilities. Room - spacious with very comfortable bed. Open bathroom and Japanese style toilet. Restaurant - we stayed on the full board package and also took the drink package. Very good value for money! The food was great from breakfast to dinner. Tasty and plentiful and service attentive. Special thanks Rowit and Dashak! Nice cocktail and wine list. Pool & Beach - pool area is small but very cosy and was never packed. Same for the beach area. Comfortable loungers, beach boy bringing food and drinks, nice beach and the free snorkeling tour was great. Best points - adult only, relaxed vibe. Good food and nice beach. Room for improvement - the slamming of the hotel doors was a bit annoying. And service sometimes a bit rushed. Relax we are on holidays no need to catch the train to work. Very much recommended and will not hesitate to book it again! Thank you all!
