Having holidayed here 5 times previously, but with our 3 Boys (who are now adults), we decided to return to this hotel for my Wife’s birthday celebration. It holds lots of wonderful memories, and over the years the place has remained an excellent location. The Family run resort is brilliantly maintained to a high standard, with amazing facilities. Albeit we arrived around midnight by a short transfer from the airport, we received a warm & welcoming greeting from 2 of the senior staff, who made sure checking in was quick and easy, and they arranged transport for us & cases to our lovely room. By chance it was a room we had stayed in on a previous visit, and one we particularly like. The gardens and grounds are immaculately kept, and the rooms fresh, clean and have everything we need. We spent the week enjoying amazing food in the restaurant, the range and choice is incredible. With so much to do during the week, a huge swimming pool, fab beach, tennis courts, 5-a-side football, bocha and beach volleyball. Also during the day and evenings the Animators provide plenty of entertainment. ‘Chelsea’ in particular was an absolute delight and encouraged us to participate in many events! We occasionally did venture out to the local town, but with such amazing facilities at the resort, we rarely travelled far. We have visited this resort 6 times over around 17 years, and incredibly the place just keeps on improving, with modernisation and increased facilities. However, for us the best part of the holidays is the excellent attention and service provided by all the staff team. The restaurant staff are always friendly and helpful, with nothing being too much trouble. The cleaning staff did a great job with our room each day, making our return to the room a joy after a busy day, gleaming clean with fresh towels, and nightwear folded ready to slip into. We had a fabulous holiday and my wife was delighted to be presented with a bottle of bubbly at her birthday evening meal. What a brilliant week at the Lagas Aegean Village. Hopefully it will not be too long before we visit again. Thank you to all the Team at the resort. You made us feel special again! Ken & Susan

We have just returned from a weeks stay here, and have both said we’d gladly return if ever in Kos again. Ignore all the reviews saying the staff are rude, this is simply not true. There are plenty of reviews that tell you men need to wear trousers at dinner. The reception staff tell you when you check in too. So if anyone is turned away and finds the staff simply doing their job rude - I think it’s more a reflection of them than the staff! All staff we met were polite and friendly, naturally some more friendly than others. We were there the second week of June and found at all times - there were plenty of sunbeds by the pool. We found the hotel to be very clean at all times. The minibus service is fantastic. We never waited more than 5 mins for the minibus back to our room. We didn’t mind walking down, but didn’t brave walking up. The food I would describe as ‘ok’. They don’t really change it up much and I do think children could struggle with the selection. But we didn’t book for the food, we always planned to eat out most nights. We ate breakfast every day at the hotel and dinner three times during our stay. If you walk into kardamena (recommend a visit) it is about 20/25mins. We did the trip several times and found it to be well lit even coming back after dark. However the road is eroding in multiple places and there are a lot of hazards, dips and deep Holes to be mindful of. So if you’re height isn’t great, definitley take a torch or consider a taxi for around 8 euros each way. We really rated Pelagos restaurant and Alexander’s. We did the bus journey into Kos town. It picks up from the hotel bus stop at 9.30 and you need to be back at the bus stop in Kos town to return at 2.30pm. It’s a bit chaotic with multiple buses and bus stops - so play close attention to the stop you get off at, to make sure you are at the right one for the return journey. It’s the only bus and getting a taxi from Kos town can be a nightmare. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and don’t have any complaints! The onsite mini market is handy for stocking the room fridge with water and the boutiques are lovely.

So disappointed. The setting is beautiful, our room was lovely. However, the management and staff are so rude and the food is absolutely horrendous. Totally geared to Germans. Absolutely will never stay here again. The amount of chlorine that’s tipped in both pools at night, every night. Is staggering. They kick you off the pool at 6pm to do this! Every day! We didn’t eat there and went to the beach in Kardamena (10-15 min walk). Will not stay here ever again. How can you produce such horrendous food with all that amazing produce on your doorstep?
