Continental Palace

Just back from another lovely stay at this hotel. This is our 5th year. We were lucky to stay in one of the newly refurbished rooms which are fab. The rooms are always super clean. The staff are so friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. The food cant fault it loads of variety. The grounds are so well cared for. Great location for us as its just a 20mins walk into kos town is lovely. Waiting for next year's dates to be released.

This is our third stay at this hotel and whilst we have always enjoyed it, this year it has exceeded our expectations. The hotel appears to be under new management and what a difference this had made. There is a cohort of new staff who compliment the existing staff very well. The service has always been good, but now every single member of staff is delightful! There is a new chef and the standard of meals has greatly improved. There is an array of choices at both breakfast and dinner, but the menu is coherent, no mish mash of food choices. The food is delicious and replenished frequently which ensures it is served at the correct temperature. The staff are diligent in their roles, clearing tables quickly and are very attentive, but not intrusive. The room we stayed in has been completely refurbished and is now a modern airy room, with walk in shower as the en-suite. It is tastefully decorated and feels very calm. If I had any advice for the team, it would be to advise that more storage is needed for those spending more than a week, but that is my only concern and hardly an issue. This is a wonderful hotel, its is situated in a very convenient area, approx 10 min walk into Kos Town and on a frequent bus route. It is literally across the road from the sea. All rooms appear to have a side sea view, which is lovely. I highly recommend this hotel.

My view is this a big hotel with a lovely pool which opens at 10am plenty of comfy sun beds ,the pool bars is good a beer was €5.50 and we thought the food was really good, the hotel rooms were spacious the only fault was no English channels on the tv we had to watch French tv ( in English) , food in the restaurant was ok plenty of choice one small thing some food didn’t have labels on them, the hotel was located about 15-20 mins walk from Kos town ( watch out for cyclists)/ overall really enjoyed our stay thanks to all staff especially Julia the receptionist very helpfull

Fabulous time at this Hotel. Staff lovely, food delicious. Room very big and good balcony. We stayed half board. Short walk to Kos town.

I have just stayed here for two weeks. The hotel is basic, but extremely good value for money. The staff are incredible and couldn't do enough for you. Rooms are large, all with sea views. Spotlessly clean. Rooms cleaned and beds made every day. Pool very large, spotless. Comfy sun beds and plenty of them. Beautiful gardens. On the negative side ( and only minor), safe deposit box charged at 40 Euro. Beach opposite isn't much at all, just a small area right on the main road. You just need to walk a few minutes more to the right. Dinner in the evening is canteen style with no ambiance, food is ok, but not a great experience, so ate out a lot which isn't a cheap thing any more!
