Hotel Lapad

Our stay at Hotel LaPad was excellent. We picked the hotel based on its location near the port where our boat journey started. Our room was very well appointed and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a nice pool area to relax, as well as a bar area to refresh. The view from our room was beautiful. The breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly want. I would stay here again.

We have had the pleasure of staying in Hotel Lapad many times over 15 years now. Great location to be based. Beautiful views of the Harbour and coastal paths to walk round. The Lapad Hotel team have worked here for many years and we couldn't ask for a more polite, friendly, helpful and professional team. It's a delightful restful stay. Comfortable rooms with a balcony and sea views. Beautiful breakfast selection. Plenty of local restaurants for an evening meal & drink. Number 6 bus takes you into the hustle and bussel of the old town. Will always aim to return

After a lovely weeks cruise, my wife and myself had a lovely week staying at Hotel Lapad. Check in was efficient and friendly and we were given all relevant information. Our luggage was taken to our room which was 519. The room was plenty big enough with good bath and shower and the most comfortable bed we had ever slept in! 7 great nights sleep. The balcony was small however the partial sea view was great with mountains beyond. The food for a buffet service was in my opinion very tasty with a very good choice both breakfast and evening. Igor was great and called me Mr Simon. The room was kept immaculately clean and the pool area was also very clean. The pool was quite chilly however it was a welcome dip once you got familiar with the temperature. If the pool was busy later in the day, we liked to relax on the other side of the wall where there was a lovely partly sunny / shade area. The position of the hotel was perfect for exploring The old town of Dubrovnik quick taxi ride or depending on heat of the day an hours walk away. The Lapad peninsula was also beautiful. The best restaurant we found was Dubravka 1836 just outside the old walls, great food and quite reasonable for Dubrovnik. Thank you for a lovely stay at Hotel Lapad Simon and Dawn Trodd

We enjoyed our stay, the room was clean, although dated. What disappointed us is that in advance of booking and prior to arrival, we had enquired and been reassured that our vegan diet would be accommodated for breakfast and that the chef had been told. Upon check in, we flagged this but there didn't appear to be a record and was told to 'mention it'. At breakfast the next morning we did that and the non dairy milks were pointed out to us. There was no allergen labelling around the buffet and we were not offered to speak with anyone. From the reviews we'd read that spoke highly of the breakfast, we were underwhelmed. The provision at breakfast didn't spoil our stay and we enjoyed the poolside bar and the pool however we wouldn't return as the assurances did not come to be.

Stayed here for a week. A really lovely hotel in a fantastic position to enjoy all Dubrovnik has to offer. Staff are really friendly and do their best to make your stay enjoyable. We found the food as we expected with a buffet which ran for 2 hours plus. Quality of food and choice good although obviously restricted by budget controls. A special mention for Igor who from the first evening ensured we were looked after at both meals. Thanks from 313!! Realy enjoyed the music provided in the Pool bar. Now a Jazz convert after one evening Area surrounding the port has plenty of choices for all but would recommend Peppers for Mojitos and sharing nachos just 50 metres from hotel. If you like fish try El Pulpo just a 20 minute walk away. Small family friendly with exceptional produce. You may wish to book in the evening as it gets busy.
