Bluesun Hotel Neptun & Depandans Maslinik

I am very pleased with my first stay at BlueSun Hotel Neptun. The surrounding mountains make a striking impression, and both the beach and the sea lived up to my expectations. There are also excellent walking trails in the area. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its exceptional staff. Every single member of the team from the hotel manager, reception staff, bartenders, housekeepers, chefs, waiters, and maintenance staff to everyone behind the scenes deserves the highest praise. Their professionalism, dedication, and genuine kindness made my stay unforgettable. They work incredibly hard to ensure that every guest feels welcome, valued, and well cared for. Thank you for this wonderful stay! I wish this hotel continued success and prosperity in the future.

This was an amazing holiday! We got a really good price, we were able to check in early and have lunch, the rooms were always kept clean and tidy. The hotel staff were helpful, I will say with excursions definitely book beforehand or as soon as you get there as they fill up quick. There are shops along the promenade that don’t come up on maps. There isn’t much in the town but has some pretty views so defo worth a wander. There is a bus that goes to podgora and makarska, the reception have the timetable. The food was really good, we enjoyed every meal and it didn’t feel repetitive at all, there is a snack bar that has chips, pastry’s, picky bits, and ice cream. There was entertainment on every day, it was mostly aimed at kids but the evenings had quizzes, live music etc. the hotel was in a good spot for a chill holiday, the pool and around the pool was clean. Overall everything about this holiday was great! We had to check out at 11am and our flight wasn’t until 10pm but they held our bags and we were allowed to use the amenities. Every staff member we spoke with was polite and helpful.

Location: Stunning. Lovely beach promenade to walk down just outside the hotel. Shops and restaurants. Hotel: lovely spotlessly clean rooms, comfy beds, great shower Food: spot on! Loads of choice and tasty Staff: Superb! All very friendly and professional Would we return? HELL YES!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was kept very clean. The staff were all amazing and happy to help when needed. Housekeeping were lovely and attentive, reception were helpful. We accidentally broke a part on our shower and it was fixed immediately. The wait staff were on it with clearing up after diners, and the cooks were helpful answering questions about food. We were provided huge packed lunches for when we went on trips. They also helped us to book trips. The hotel itself is nice and in a great position. Right on the beach, with stunning mountain views. It's an easy walk into the centre of Tučepi. The pool was a good size. Food on offer was decent and their was always something different on offer each day. The only thing I would say that would make it better would be to have fridges in the rooms so we could keep our bottled drinks and snacks cold!

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE** We had a very stressful and disappointing experience from the start to finish…. We booked with on the beach where we were told that transfers could be added after we finished booking. We were then told after booking, that transfers were not available for this area as the airport was 2.5 hours away from the hotel. We were quoted £900 for taxis!! And no other options. We ended up hiring a car in the end which was a stressful process. We arrived at the hotel to be told we had to pay €50 for parking which we weren’t made aware of when booking. We were then told to send over confirmation of payment from the booking to reception multiple times over the holiday even tho we had already done it!! Reception staff were extremely rude and not very strong in the English. Firstly, the food was unbearable!! It was cold, not much choice, salad covered in flies etc. The air con did not work in the room so it was very stuffy and no mini fridge or do not disturb signs available. The walls were paper thin so we could hear all of next doors conversations etc. No aircon in the gym and broken equipment. My OWN towel and sun hat was STOLEN from our sunlounger!! Reception said it wasn’t there responsibility to help. Finally on our last day, we did not need to leave until 1pm to go to the airport so we checked out then tried to go for some dinner and told we were not allowed!! Even tho we didn’t get there till after 1pm on our first day so only had scraps for dinner. Really did not enjoy our stay or the customer service from hotel or OnTheBeach and would not go back ever.
