Arrived late night, hotel staff quick to book in ..... although we were the only ones at 1am. With the dim night lights on in corridor have to admit wasn't impressed at first but impressed in daylight. Lifts are small it says 6 people but that would be cosy 😜 only 2 lifts and one broke down last day. ALL the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. They all work extremely hard and look like they have pride in thier work. Pools good , sunbeds the mist uncomfortable ones I've ever been on. The pink ones seem to be the better option. The hotel is sparkling clean, although needs attention to structural bits! Chips in walls, tiles etc. Was dazed by the orange tiles in bathroom 😲 bathroom a little outdated but spotless and cleaned daily. Towels daily . Plenty of shampoo and hand wash. Beds were really comfy, could do with some drawers in the rooms as not much storage only a wardrobe that also holds the safe and fridge. Asked for rooms together and a pool view. Which we sort of got, a room between us. The usual hotel entertainment, the kids seemed to enjoy there part of the evening anyway . The hill is ok after the first attempt, gets less daunting 🫪 I'm a fuzzy eater so have to say the food was lovely, so much choice. Food replenished as soon as getting low. The only gripe is the ice cream scoop, nothing to rinse it in and kids licking it and putting back in......you have been warned. Overall an excellent holiday hotel. 10/10 for the pool man he works hard and any behaviour that was antisocial he nipped in the bud with skill and humour. I would give the hotel 3* just for the outdated appearance and lifts. The service and food deffo 4*

Just back from a lovely week at the bali. Check in was swift. Was given a room on 5th floor in bali 1. We did request with jet 2 and an email direct with hotel for a lower floor in bali 2 but this request couldn't be met as hotel was at capacity. Certainly wasn't going to let it spoil our stay as hotel always tries its best. Room was absolutely immaculate as always . Years since we have had the bright orange bathroom tiles but who cares about the colour. Dove shampoo,shower wash and hand wash. Previous comments about no extra toiletries make no sense as surely this is enough. Towels were changed regularly and room cleaned to a high standard by our lovely cheerful room attendant. Dining room was very busy at times but the staff worked tirelessly. Lovely to see old faces still there but some pleasant polite newbies too. Food was of a good standard and plentiful. Only the eggs at breakfast need to be fried not griddled it made them very dry at the bottom. So much choice at breakfast. There really needs a water bowl to rinse ice cream scoops. Animation team are fantastic so hard working and very talented. Entertainment other than show by Animation was very mediocre but that's just my opinion. Big shout out to Dori on reception ,such a asset to the hotel . The staff are friendly and hardworking nothing is too much trouble. No mad dash for sunbeds but I do agree they really need renewing . Only 2 tiny tiny gripes. The lifts in bali 1 are appalling not a day went by without them breaking down and out of use at some part of the day . 3 occasions we had to use staff service lift as my husband has a lung problem so can't climb stairs. Twice lift stopped mid floors with doors opening to brick was. Unnerving to say the least. We appreciate they really need newer and bigger lifts but to do that it would probably need to close bali 1 down for a length of time. Because of lifts I couldn't give 5 stars. Other gripes is not really the fault of the hotel but the behaviour of somebody the children and guests in dinning room is atrocious. Running round like lunatics, staff constantly have to watch where they are going with the trollies. Even the robot couldn't calm them down. Thank you once again for a lovely stay and look forward to visiting again.xxx

True & honest review Check in…… Was quick &easy. Emailed hotel before arrival asking for low floor & close to another guest that was with us & they said it would be passed on, gentleman who checked us in said there was no record of the email and we were on floor 7. We were told nothing could be done until the next day but after complaining we were moved to the 1st floor immediately and were informed we were between a party of school children which were nowhere to be seen the whole time we were there !! Room….. Two adults, one child 7. Very small room , one small wardrobe with two shelves, no bedside cabinets with storage or chest of draws. Struggled with space, third bed pulled down from a cabinet but was adequate size. Safe Hire 28 Euros for the week which for a 3+ hotel is very steep. Take your own towel or buy one in the supermarket as it’s 14 Euros to hire one for the week. We bought a travel kettle across the supermarket 16.50 Euros with 2 small cups & 2 stirrers. I do not see why only upgraded rooms have a kettle? Came back to shower one day and no towels were present after going to reception twice the young girl on duty gave me two bath towels for 3 guest and no other towels were delivered that day. Room was clean but not to a high standard and no extra toiletries were supplied. There is Dove handwash, shower gel & Shampoo which were really nice, shower was lovely and hot. Pool… Sunbeds open at 9am, pool opens at 10am which is really nice as there is no need to get up too early. Always got a sun bed but it was so busy & noisy around the family pool and the sunbeds as mentioned in many other reviews are the most uncomfortable I have ever sat on! They did not rise and fall and they seem to have a metal bar across the middle, I did not lay down all week. Pool bar ok but lots of queueing and if you want a slush you have to pay a supplement if you are A/I as you do at the main bar if you want a coffee which I thought was a rip/off. On the plus side I liked the fact that drinks were served to you and were of a very good quality. Restaurant….. The food was of a very good quality , always hot, but sometimes it was hard to put a meal together. There was always meat and veg but not enough potato options, one evening i managed to put a roast together with Yorkshire and gravy but with a jacket potatoe. Breakfast was great but lunch could have had tuna on more day and some boiled eggs to complement the salad options. Fresh fruit was the same most days as was desserts. Never saw a banana or strawberry or grapes. There wasn’t much choice of desserts and there was no wash for the ice cream scoop so they all mixed into one. Food was replenished quickly and tables were cleaned and reset quickly as well. Hotel got very busy towards the end of the week and restaurant became very noisy . Drinks were served at the bar and you had glasses instead of plastic beakers which was lovely. Entertainment…. My 7 year old Grandson had a blast with the pool entertainment and the kids evening entertainment especially with Cappuccino he was Amazing with the little ones. The music& dance shows were boring and the professional singers were shocking!!!! Too loud in the entertainment area and too much queuing at the bar. Reception…. We found certain reception staff to be rude especially the young girl with long dark hair , didn’t get her name! Area…. Hotel is in a good location , if you walk down the hill, cross the main road, walk down the steps you are on the beach, it is 16Euros for 2 sunbeds & a parasol well worth it for a lovely comfortable sunbeds and a day of peace and quiet. We left our bags on the sun beds while we went for lunch and they were fine . It’s 7 Euros to the Carihuela which is the other side of the Marina which lots of shops & restaurants. The is also Burger King by the mariner and a Carvery.

We have recently stayed at this hotel. Staff. Helpful and work incredibly hard especially in the restaurants and pool bars. Domestic staff do their best but in my opinion there just isn't enough of them to keep some areas of the hotel to a acceptable standard. Cleanliness: Corridors, stairs, glass doors and windows etc need to be cleaned much more often and are grubby and in need of an overhaul. Areas of the hotel such as reception, entertainment room are adequately clean. Food: This is mass catering and food is good for the standard of the hotel. Comfort: Comfortable rooms, shower over the bath, air con, Fridge, TV with some English channels. You have to pay for the safe. No kettle so take your own if needed. Rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, bedding and towels changed regularly. Noise level: If you want a quiet holiday stay away, entertainment room at night is in my opinion louder than anything i've experienced, music is so loud it is distorted meaning you have to shout to make yourself heard to your family, add to that the scraping of chairs on the floor and it was bedlam!! We went out most nights due to this even though we were AI. Atmosphere: The hotel aren't responsible for the behaviour of the guests!. Pool: 2 nice size pools, 1 kids pool. Inflatables not allowed in the pools unless rubber rings for smaller children. Sun beds in dire need of replacing, they do not adjust at the head and all are saggy in the middle, not comfortable at all. Take your own pool towels, or buy locally as this is cheaper than getting them through the hotel. Location: Up a steep hill so be aware if you have young children or have mobility issues. 20 mins to the Marina and Paloma Park. Good walk into Torremolinos and easy to get trains to Malaga or other resorts on the Costa. Would I return - no.

Went here on my own with my kids, hotel was really good, lots for kids to do throughout the day and night cappachino the kids entertainer was brilliant. Food was really good especially the breakfasts! Would definitely recommend this hotel.
