Hotel Nettuno

Nettuno This is the third time that we have returned to this hotel. It never disappoints. From the moment we arrived at reception, the service was exceptional. All reception staff are professional, attentive & helpful and each one has a friendly approach to all guests. The lady who cleaned our room always greeted us with a smile and kept the room spotless. The hotel & bedrooms are air conditioned, a blessing since it was 35 degrees. Meals can be taken inside or out on the terrace. Food is a high standard with plenty of choice to suit all tastes and service is great. One evening the head chef toured the restaurant enquiring with each table how they found the menus & if we had any suggestions for improvement. We asked if a side dish that we had missed a few nights earlier could be repeated and there it was the next night. With such friendly attentive staff, guests are relaxed & mix well with each other. We love Bardolino & will certainly return to the Nettuno.

What a place to spend my 60th birthday! We went with TUI, Julie our rep was simply fantastic and was informed and professional. The hotel is located directly on the lake and is easily accessible to the town of Bardolino. Other towns are a walk or a boat trip away which is a great way to see this vast lake. The food was beautifully served, breakfast is self serve but had plenty of choice. Dinner as we were half board is 4 courses and served fine dining style which was above 5 stars. Photos of meals attached. The staff especially the delightful Fernando were superb! You won’t be disappointed if you book a stay here, it really is something very special.

We had a fabulous 10 days at hotel Nettuno. The staff were professional and friendly. The position is perfect, short walk to the centre but so peaceful and quiet. The food was outstanding. Strongly recommend.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Nettuno Hotel, Bardilino for a week following a stay in Switzerland. The parking was easy - immediately outside the hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms was excellent. The breakfast and evening meals were superb with an excellent choice and the dining room has lovely views of the Lake. We had a lake view room with a balcony which was amazing. All the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Nettuno is in a good location within easy walking distance of both Bardilino and Garda. We would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel and hopefully will return.

We have just returned from a lovely week stay at Hotel Nettuno in Bardolino. The hotel is located at the end of Bardolino basically where the start of the walk to Garda starts. It is the perfect place to watch the sunset from the outside terrace. The hotel is beautifully decorated,spotlessly clean in every area and has a lovely bar/lounge area. We stayed on a half board basis, breakfast was very nice,good choice of food and lovely pots of coffee and pastries. Dinner was fine dining waiter service,choice of 3 courses plus a salad buffet starter. The menu was different for every one of our seven nights,freshly prepared and delicious food, not a chip in sight. Portions are not huge so if you have a healthy appetite,expect quality not quantity. We had evening entertainment on the Saturday night,a lovely singer called Holly and her daughter Amilie. Having more entertainment throughout the week would have been a welcome bonus. We had a double room on the second floor which was large enough and spotlessly clean. You can walk into the old town alongside the lake which takes about 15 minutes or take the direct route along the main road which only takes about 6 minutes. Bardolino is lovely,plenty of narrow streets,restaurants and cafe's, and great to catch the ferry to different towns around the lake. The last time we were in Lake Garda was actually 19 years ago so we did find that on this visit,even in May,it was much busier than how we remembered it so I can imagine it to be really busy in the height of the season. A mention to the hotel staff who were always friendly and helpful,Elena on reception,Ana and Vicenza in the bar and Ferdinando,Bakary and Emmanuel in the restaurant. Overall, we had a fabulous holiday,and if we were to return to Lake Garda we would definitely stay at the Nettuno.
