A family holiday of 6, including a wheelchair user. On arrival, reception was not really that helpful, we had 3 rooms twin room booked and was given double rooms on the 2nd floor, not wheelchair friendly. Check in was from 3pm. Waiting for the last room. Room was small for the 15 euro per night room tax. Rooms cleaned to an OK standard. Disappointed the baloney was not cleaned properly due to birds nesting. There were no English working channels, youtube works. Noise levels was OK, but there was constant machinery on in the field next to our room. There were no pool side toilets or ground level disabled toilets. The nearest was downstairs or by lift. This hotel does not cater for wheelchair users. The pool was big, not heated but still warm. Lifeguards actively on duty, there were plenty of sun beds, the unbellas are fixed and can't be moved. The pool snacks are waffles, ice cream, ice drinks, crepes and sandwiches, this was good. All inclusive drinks was good, there was alot of choice. The bar area is nice. The food in the main restaurant was cold and repetitive, which served breakfast and dinner. There was no change to the menu apart from on a Sunday as the other al la cart was closed. There are not enough tables in the restaurant and you can not reserve tables. We had to wait/find a table for 6. There were 2 al la cart restaurants, one to book for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and the other Thursday, Friday and Saturday. You need to book ASAP on arrival as quickly gets booked up, again booked for a table for 6 and got a table for 5, the food in the Italian al la cart was poor, the food was cold, and not a complete meal as described from the meus and took a while to be served. Enterainment was basic and dragged on and was based in the outside theatre. There is a bar and toliets. The water park, was OK, there is a lazy river and water slides, with toilets and a snack bar. Unfortunately, this is not a 5 star hotel, there are some improvements,

We have just got back and had such a lovely time. We stayed in the family suite. It was so spacious. Originally it was made up with the children sharing one bed but a quick phone call to the reception and they turned the second sofa in to a bed so that the boys had a bed each. On arrival, the staff were very friendly. We were a bit early for check in so we looked around and grabbed some food. When we could check in, we were taken to our room with suitcases in a golf buggy. The pools were easy to get sunbeds. The lifeguards were strict but mainly to ensure parents were watching their kids. The main pool was never too busy and everyone had space. The pool bar went through periods of being busy but quickly quietened down again. Evening food had a great selection of fresh salads. Kids section was great. It did get a bit samey by the end but don’t they all. The Greek restaurant for the à la carte was okay. It seemed like they were almost trying too hard when you don’t get much food on your plate. The beach and water park were great. All in all, we had a great time and look forward to returning in the future.

We stopped for a week at the TUI Lagoon Queen following a week at the TUI Lagoon princess a number of years ago, i assumed it would be similar but i think some of the comments from other people are a pretty true reflection of the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, we had to wait to have our cases taken to our room, we had been travelling for 6 hours at this point so i ended up just taking the cases on my own, i just wanted to get the kids in the pool. The rules the lifeguards implement are different to the rules on the rule board and to be honest, it can get a little bit petty, you cant jump/dive you have to have arm bands on children under 5 (doesn't say that on the rules) basically you can get in and swim. Restaurants- same food all the time, we couldn't book into the La carta restaurant as it was full. Bar- Lagoon Princess you have a barcode in which drinks get brought to your bed, you had to go and que to get a drink from the bar sometimes, i ended up going to the shop sometimes because it was easier than waiting. If you went to the main buffet anytime after 7pm, you couldn't get a baby seat i ended up feeding our 1 year old on my knee on one of the nights, it would seem they are very under staffed with how fast the tables are cleaned, the food is very much the same if you want Pizza and Pasta, for some reason the fresh fruit is terrible it misses things like pineapple and water melon. We have a 1 year old and 7 year old and to be honest, by the time we had been the park and been to the kids entrainment on the first day, it was the same everyday of the week. Rooms- clean and tidy but i had the same coffee cup for a few days without it being cleaned or swapped out, rest of the room as nice and clean to be honest, beds made everyday. The 2 ladies who work on the pancake and ice cream section are absolutely amazing, they smiled all day every day, the 3 /4 girls who did the entertainment also really really positive. I hate to sound like one of the people who whinge but it is a very basic 4* hotel all inclusive and to be honest i have stopped in many 5 star hotels with TUI and it doesn't have the standard as the others yet certainly has the price tag.
