My boyfriend and I (18 and 19) stayed at Heronissos Hotel and returned on 15th June. Overall, we were quite disappointed and wouldn’t choose to stay here again. The biggest issue was the food. As a picky eater, I really struggled. Most of the meals consisted of Greek-style vegetable dishes, and there was very little variety. The bolognese seemed to be served at both lunch and dinner nearly every day, and it wasn’t particularly nice. For most of the holiday, I lived on chips and cucumber because there was very little else I could eat. Every evening we would walk into the restaurant, look around, and leave because there wasn’t a single thing we wanted. We ended up eating out every night, which added a lot of unexpected expense to the trip.Photos of a good night when they included some pizza… they had things on like bone marrow.. never more than 1 meat 1 fish option everyday and bone marrow being one of them.. it was terrible. The drinks were decent, but there were barely any snacks available during the day. Occasionally there would be a slice of cake between 4pm and 5pm, but that was about it. We also had a frustrating experience with our room. When we arrived, we were placed in a superior room and weren’t told it was an upgraded room. The next day, our key cards stopped working twice and we were locked out. We were then told we needed to pay €100 cash to keep the room. After some discussion, we managed to negotiate this down to €85. To be fair, staff did show us alternative rooms. We viewed two standard rooms that smelled strongly of weed and didn’t feel particularly nice or safe. We were also shown another superior room, but it was even smaller than ours, had a tiny bathroom, and still had a poor view. Our original room also had a broken TV, a faulty shower, and a view of a wall, but we decided to pay the upgrade fee and stay where we were. Entertainment was very limited. There were only two nights of entertainment during our entire stay: one DJ night and one evening with Greek dancers and musicians. On a positive note, the hotel was clean and the superior rooms were modern. However, the food completely let the hotel down for us. Having to eat out every night because we couldn’t eat the hotel food made the all-inclusive experience feel pointless. Unfortunately, despite the clean facilities, we left disappointed and would not return.

Absolute shambles, please dont book this hotel save your money, it has never seen 4star, it is maximum 2 star, the rooms are very dated, the new rooms they tell you that you have to pay extra £100 per room, the pool area was shocking, couldn't get a sun lounger unless you were up at 4am, the grassed area was just full of cat feaces which we told staff about and they didn't clean it up, there were small children running around, the food was horrendous, we had to eat out everyday, I honestly feel like we were catfished, absolute disgusting hotel. No entertainment apart from 1 night there was a DJ on, supposedly all inclusive but was no snack bar no ice-creams had to pay for cocktails. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
