Dream Village

Just back from my 3rd vist to dream village each time gets better and better.The location is perfect with sooo many amazing tradtional taverns on the doorstep.A good choice of beaches can be reached by walking dowm the hill into Hersonissos(12-15, euro taxi each way).We stayed in a dream signature maisonette the room was clean spacious and modern with a great shower.The sofa bed was just as comfy as the bed. We spent everyday at the beach but on previous visits the pool area was never over crowded.The staff and other guests are the icing on the cake here.Nikos,Mike and Kostas all work so hard to make everyone welcome.Thank you all for another amazing holiday see you in October

Just returned for a wonderful stay, at Dream village, our first & definitely not the last to Crete! What a great find! After arriving late, we were greeted by Kostas, who quickly and easily made us feel very welcome. The whole atmosphere was very relaxed and comforting, felt like a family, always someone asking about your day. The staff were fantastic, Mike greeting us each morning at breakfast with a friendly smile and Mo making us a filling breakfast to start our day. In the evenings, Kostas was there with a constant smile & laughter, bring the place and everyone together. Our room was very clean & comfortable, super comfy bed and great shower. Pool immaculately clean & no fighting for sunbeds here! 😂 Perfect location, so many great taverna’s to choose from, everything we ate was delicious! Short walk down the hill to the beach, bit steeper on the way back up but no need to rush! All in all, a great stay, look forward to returning! 😃

Arrived late evening got a very warm welcome from Costa and the lovely friendly guests at the bar . Stayed in an apartment which was spotless and lovely . Couldn't fault anything Koutouloufari is amazing 5th visit to the village which is traditional and authentic one taverna is nicer than the other too many to choose from foods top quality in them all never had a bad meal there . Perfect location can walk to Piskopiano and old Hersonossis and down to Hersonossis to the beach . Everyone is so hospitable and welcoming in the villages always have a very relaxing holiday . Costas and Mike are a credit to the hotel they work so hard along with the great chef and cleaners and gardener and maintenance guys to keep it up to a high standard . A lot of return guests who were lovely speaks for itself .can't wait to return .Thank you dream village keep up the good work ,Lyn n Suzi 😜

Where to start….fantastic hotel, filled with fantastic staff and guests, food is out of this world, morning breakfast - a genuine hangover cure - brought to you by Mike who even when busy always goes above and beyond service with a smile. The evenings are brought to life by the ever enthusiastic Kostas, who brings the Greek evenings to life with his choice of greek music and wicked sense of humour. Set in the fantastic village of Koutouloufari, filled with beautiful Tavernas and classy cocktail bars, something for everyone, far enough away from the hustle of Hersonisos but close enough to jump in a taxi to the beautiful beaches of Stallis. A week was not enough, we will return…

I stayed at the Dream Village twice in the last 4 weeks and can't say enough good things about it. The staff really make this place what it is and make people want to come back, especially Kostas and Mike. The location is excellent (over 50 restaurants on the doorstep) and the rooms have all been renovated over the last few years to a high standard and are really modern. The pool is such a relaxed vibe during the day, and the food is excellent. Kostas makes the best pina coladas and will take great care of you on an evening at the bar, and Mike will sort you out with an irn-bru when you're hungover the next day! Helpful things to know before you go: Rooms without kitchens have cups/glasses/coffee maker/mini fridge. Rooms with kitchens also have hob/plates/cutlery. Take your own dish cloth/tea towel. Same as everywhere in Koutouloufari there are lots of stairs, you might struggle with pushchairs or limited mobility. The newer rooms have lots of storage, I think wardrobes are coming for the older rooms. Never had any issues with hot water or wifi or noise. Honestly I can't wait to go back in October, feel like I need to get another trip in before then!
