Another amazing holiday at The Old Palace. Thank you so much to all the staff on making us feel so welcome, again. We had a fantastic time, and, as always, it is the wonderful service we receive that makes us want to return, time after time. There are so many familiar faces that we now consider as friends. We have mentioned them in the past and they know who they are. The whole operation perform exceptionally, Reception, Consierge, Bars, Restaurant, Pool, Beach and Housekeeping (Karam, you were fantastic). Thanks Hashemite for cleaning my room good work all ok

This is my second stay at this hotel, and my tenth trip to Egypt overall, so I have a substantial basis for comparison. This afternoon, upon attempting to enter the sea, I discovered that the hotel’s entire swimming area was contaminated with fuel oil. The water was literally filled with black oil residue. The source of this pollution was blatant: three motorboats were anchored just two meters away from the hotel’s designated waters. When I approached the hotel management to lodge a formal complaint regarding the presence of carcinogens in the water, I was met with pathetic excuses claiming that the boats were outside the hotel’s property and that administration had no power to intervene. Furthermore, I was told that if my family or I were to fall ill, the hotel would assist with medical treatment. This demonstrates that the management is entirely incapable of addressing a direct threat to the health and safety of their guests. This is, without a doubt, the worst vacation experience I have had in Egypt in ten years. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel for anyone who does not wish to swim in carcinogenic petroleum products.

And again i the Old Palace in Sahl Hasheesh. Why? Cause it is the best location ever. Feel like home.
