Hotel Astarea I und II

We stayed in this hotel just a few years ago and we loved it,fair enough it was a saga holiday so we were looked after, but since we stayed there the hotel has had a make over, the location is brilliant, the pool aera is lovely and if you have children they look well catered for, but the rooms are like premier Inn rooms, not a single drawer to put anything in ???? The wardrobe space is totally inadequate,my wife had to hang her dresses on the door frames, no room in the wardrobes for long dresses, they have a frame to put your suitcases on,we had to put ours on the balcony to create space. The food in the restaurant was luke warm and my wife asked for a glass of tap water for her tablets, just to wash them down, you can't have one,you have to buy an expensive small bottle of water, we had been buying wine to drink with our meal, that stopped after that and we only purchased a small bottle of water from then on with our evening meal,so in the words Arnie didn't say,We won't be back.

A lovely hotel, definitely more like a 4x than a 3x. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean, great facilities and with a fantastic view of the sea. Superb beach bar too, to watch the sunset. Would definitely recommend. We had a fabulous time.

I stayed one week at this hotel, hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. The food for a 3 star was good, but it could have been warmer/hotter. I had the most amazing view from Annex room and I would like to especially say thank you to Natasha who was the maid/cleaner, she was so lovely and friendly. We chatted every morning but translated it on her phone due to the language barrier, she made my day as I was on my own and she made time to welcome me to Milini. This is from Maureen if this gets back to her, she always complemented me on being clean and tidy. She is a credit to your staff and I wish her all the best.

Hotel is clean, well located, decent swimming pool. Food however is awful! If you are English and like your cooked breakfast you will be disappointed! The supposed to be hot food is always luke warm or cold! I had to microwave mine every morning and just made do with eggs on toast every morning! Bacon is literally just fat and sausage are those horrible German things! Evening meal is very poor! Very little choice for the size of the hotel and the amount of people! Virtually the same every night! Again almost cold whatever time you got there! Dessert station is ridiculous! Worst I've ever seen!! It's a shame because if they sorted the food out it could be a great place! We ended up eating out alot because it's so predictable! Makes me think it's deliberate to get you to go to the restaurant they own near the beach which you have to pay for! The food there is good surprise surprise!!!!

6 ladies in their late 50s / 60s stayed for 6 nights B&B in the annexes. Location is fantastic. Rooms were small but clean. Could do with some hooks for additional storage. Beds & pillows comfortable & good choice at breakfast. Day time Reception staff not the friendliest ! Pool area lovely, beds good quality but parasols not got sturdy bases & blow over, can be dangerous. Oleander beach bar is great with friendly staff. Had an incredible body wrap treatment by Marina in the wellness centre. Overall would recommend this hotel, we all had a fantastic time 👍🏼
