Sol Nessebar Palace All Inclusive

For a Melia hotel and the experience we had from Gran Canaria i suppose its on me to have higher expectations. Context is everything and the service we had had previously on 5 star all inclusive. Was like comparing a fillet steak with a microwaveable rustler burger. Although not a bad hotel I feel it didnt really come close to a 5 star. I felt with the exception of the poor bar staff they just seemed happy to go through the motions and not necessarily work above a basic standard. I also didnt expect so many chargeable things at an all inclusive. The spa was €25 for the day but not a lot to justify the expense. Also many of the mini bowling, 8 ball pool, playstations, were all additional charges. I almost expect an oxygen charge at one point. Food was ok nothing particularly special it was disappointing to find out many of the additional restaurants dont open to middle of June. Drinks were also ok the mix of cocktails were nice and tasted pretty good. Due to a Late flight we needed a late checkout but they cant confirm one until the morning you leave which does cause a bit of unneeded stress especially as in this case an extra charge is expected. The gym also managed to have over half of its machines out of order. The room was a nice size and a nice bathroom but sadly the balcony didnt really have dividers it had one pane of frosted glass but in our room at 526 they were in different places on each side. Its really a shame as the hotel has a lot of potential and I feel it should try to maybe charge more for the rooms and make some of those inclusive. Some positives the Italian restaurant which you need to reserve was really nice and up to the standard of food I would expect. The water park and it slides were fun and not too busy. The floors had coffee machine and water dispensers on each floor with disposable cups in your room. Overall I feel 3 is fair for the experience as its taught me to be a little more cautious when booking a 5 star all inclusive. Once bitten twice shy.

i visited this place for nine nights hotel was nice but the food is terrible the all incusive is only on bulgarian drinks which are like poison and the adults entertainment is rubbish mainly for kids staff great but definetely not a five star more of a three i would not recommend this place as it seems to be only for kids we were very disappointed would never return to bulgaria again

Been here nearly a week now and wanted to leave a review. This is my fourth time staying at this hotel, and it’s been great every single time! The hotel is super clean, the rooms are spotless, and the whole resort is really well maintained. The animation team this year are honestly the best team I’ve seen across all four of my visits. A special mention to Richo, George and Sunny – it’s been lovely seeing familiar faces each time we return. They’re always friendly, energetic and fantastic at what they do. What has really stood out this holiday though is the new team member, Danny. Wow! I met him on his very first day and he was so happy, bubbly and chatty. Since then, every time he sees us around the complex, he stops to say hello, invites us to join in the games, and even remembers our names. He asks where the kids are by name too, which is such a lovely personal touch. We even saw him outside the hotel walking down the road while he was on the phone. He paused his call to say hello to us before carrying on. That, to me, shows someone who genuinely cares about the guests and enjoys what they do – definitely a keeper! We also loved watching Danny attempting the dances at the mini disco last night. He gave it his all, stayed in great spirits and got involved with everyone. We’d definitely love to see him doing the Socka Socka dance! 😂 Overall, we’re having a fantastic holiday so far and will definitely be back again. Hopefully we’ll see the same amazing animation team when we return!

Lovely hotel, I've never chosen to stay in the same hotel on more than one occasion but I've stayed at the sol nessebar resort 3 times, can't fault it.

Hotel itself is lovely plenty to do foods ok plenty of choice rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed but staff in all the places ive been have interacted with you but here ive never met such rude and ignorant staff its doesnt matter what country we live in manners dont cost anything ive been here 5days and not had a hello goodmorning or even a head nod well ive got 2days left here so maybe a miracle may happen🥲
